Reading and Writing for All: Accelerating Achievement in Grades K-8

This exciting conference offers strategic supports to empower readers and writers to reach higher, learn with greater confidence, and find joy in reading and writing. Our presenters will inspire you to integrate the arts into your literacy instruction while supporting RTI and the Common Core Standards.

Spend the day with Linda Hoyt, Dr. Mary Howard, and the enormously entertaining children's author, Michael Shoulders. You will gather strategies to enhance your students' comprehension and writing, and lift their literacy skills, confidence and proficiency.

Registration Fees:
Photo $140 Members: ORA and Portland Reading Council
$165 Non-Members

Fee includes seminar registration, a resource handout, continental breakfast, lunch, a book and a personalized certificate of participation.

College credit and Washington clock hours available as well.

Registration Confirmation
Registration confirmation will be emailed to you if completed paid registration is received 14 days prior to the seminar. On-site registrations will be taken if space allows.

Graduate Credits/Clock Hours
Graduate level elective credits as well as Washington clock hours will be available for each session. A professional book display will also be on-site.

Cancellations
If you cancel your registration, you will be entitled to a full refund up to 14 days prior to the seminar. If you cancel thereafter, we must retain a $30 processing fee. Participant substitutions are allowed. Please note: If you do not cancel and do not attend the seminar, there will be no refund.
